DESCRIPTION
Overview
This automated workflow provides an executive-level synthesized analysis of competitor product reviews. It efficiently scrapes a large volume of unstructured customer feedback, processes it through an advanced AI model for holistic synthesis, and compiles a single, structured report in a Google Sheet. This process eliminates manual review reading, providing clear, actionable competitive intelligence.
How It Works
-
Extracts Raw Reviews: Pulls the full text of recent customer reviews from a designated competitor product page using the Web Scrape Node.
-
Analyzes and Synthesizes: Sends the entire collected body of reviews to the Ask AI Node (LLM) for holistic analysis, generating a concise summary, an overall sentiment score, and identifying the top pain points.
-
Reports Strategy: Organizes the synthesized strategic insights (Summary, Top Pain Points, Competitors Mentioned) and exports them as a single structured row into your Google Sheet for long-term tracking and reporting.
Use Cases
-
Executive Intelligence: Providing C-level leadership with a quick, weekly briefing on a major competitor’s market standing.
-
Product Strategy: Identifying emerging, high-priority user pain points and feature gaps in competitor products.
-
Competitive Analysis: Quantifying the holistic customer sentiment toward a rival to inform sales enablement and marketing messaging.
Setup Requirements
-
Google Docs: Requires a connected Google account with permissions to create new docs.
-
Google Sheets: Requires a connected Google account with permissions to edit the designated output spreadsheet.
HOW DO YOU SET THIS UP?
1.
Identify Target
Enter the URL of the competitor's review page (e.g., G2, Capterra, or a specific e-commerce product) into the input node.
2.
Connect Google Sheet
Set up your sheet with date, review, and score headers like the one provided here. Then grab it's link and connect it here in the google sheets writer node.
3.
Connect your google doc account
Add your google account so the report will be automatically created on your account.
4.
Create a trigger (optionally)
Create a trigger to run the flow each period of time that you define (e.g. every day, every Saturday, etc)
